Alyssum Hair Negative Review

You've all heard of bad hair days well now you can add Bad Extensions to the list, and one of the worst hair extensions I've ever seen is that of Alyssum Hair. However, not just bad hair but they've also kept my money too even after receiving the goods back to them. Read more below.

What makes this so much worst is that I actually thought that I'd done so much research beforehand and even explained myself and spoke directly with the Managing Director of the company Nji Lorimer that I was seriously looking for a genuine seller of quality hair extensions.

Her vlogs and website www.alyssumhair.com all apeared above board but when I finally received the hair I couldn't have be more disappointed.

I only looked at the ends of the hair and noticed how dry they were, as I had my extension appointment booked in later that day at Toni & Guy.

When the Toni & Guy professional pulled the hair from the bag her reaction said it all and wasn't until she tried to comb her fingers through it that the horror was actuated. The hair would even Matt up when attempting to comb it. And all this before he hair ever being washed and people with hair extensions will know that this is the true test. She even argued that it was the Worst Hair she had ever seen and I had to agree sadly.

I had made the biggest mistake ever! I thought ok, not a problem, perhaps it was a bad batch or something so I sent the hair back the same day via recorded delivery and informed Alyssum of this. To which there was no response via telephone or email. More to the point her number of the website diverts to an 02 sim. Which on hindsight should have been my first alarm bell.

I only got a response a week later after I informed her that her none response would leave me with no option but to contact trading standards.

To which her email was full of holes and said that she's in the process of speaking with her lawyers and Trading Standards because of the return.

I again asked for a refund and she got back to me 3 days later saying that I wasn't entitled to a refund as in her belief the hair was of good quality. Which is totally against the law so I informed Trading standards, and they agreed under the Consumer goods Act 1979 that I was within my rights to pursue for a refund and more to the point why she be allowed to keep not only my money but the goods as well. Defies logic but this is what you're dealing with.

At the time of writing this Trading Standards are currently investigating and hopefully I might see some of my money again. But if not I hope to inform as many people as possible not to make the same mistake as me.

Model's put on Fat Suits to Shock Dates!!!

Perhaps one of the scariest things about on-line dating is that the person who turns up doesn't look anything like their pictures. So as part of a social experiment two models, one female and one male contacted genuine daters from the website Tinder. The experiment was to see the daters reactions when they discover that their date is actually a lot larger than previously described.

Beauty Guide: Top Brightening Cleansers

As the weather begins to draw in, it's not only your style which you'll need to update but you'll also need some help with your beauty regime.  Below you will find my top picks for a Brightening Cleanser.

1. SHU UEMURA Brightening Cleansing Oil

Shu Uemura was a brand created by Mr. Uemura.  Uemura worked as a Make-up Artist in 1950's Hollywood and gained make-up secrets during that time to create a line of powerful make-up and skin products. The secret to this cleansing oil is it's effects on brightening and smoothing the skin as well as it's power to remove waterproof mascara and other long lasting make-up products.

SHU UEMURA Brightening Cleansing Oil £30 from Space.NK
This product left my skin feeling a lot clearer and smoother and worked well on removing waterproof based products. I'd highly recommend it as not only is it an all round good cleanser for removing make-up but it's brightening properties leave your skin feeling more luminous and smoother.

2. CHANEL LE BLANC Fresh Brightening Foam Cleanser

The LE BLANC range of products from Chanel use the ancient Eastern philosophy coupled with Western Science to create an advanced line of skin brightening products. More specifically the Fresh Brightening Foam Cleanser uses an advanced pearl protein and licorice extracts to give the skin renewed softness and luminosity.

CHANEL LE BLANC Fresh Brightening Foam Cleanser £38.36 from Nordstrom
After using this product for only a couple of days I noticed the most difference when compared with numerous products on the market. My skin almost immediately was left clearer and felt like a blank canvas. However wasn't great for removing waterproof or more longer lasting products.

3. Bliss triple oxygen instant energising cleansing foam

This is to be used as part of your daily cleansing routine and will leave your skin looking bright and feeling revitalised. Bliss brought this product to the public after being tried and tested in their spa's. More specifically the liquid-to-foam formula is the first to deliver oxygen along with a super-powered form of vitamin C, which will leave your skin feeling hydrated with washing away make-up and impurities.

Bliss Triple Oxygen Cleansing Foam on Sale at M&S for £19.20 RRP £24

In my opinion comes in cheaper than a lot of brightening cleansers on the market and is great for just brightening and energising the skin, however it's not great for removing waterproof or more longer lasting make-up.
